Hello,
Ten years of design work across automotive platforms, enterprise financial systems, consumer electronics, B2B eCommerce, and agency creative have made one thing clear: the most valuable skill in this field is not what you can design in isolation — it is what you can integrate at scale. Every engagement in my career has centered on identifying fragmentation and building the system that resolves it.
The clearest demonstration is my tenure as North American Design Lead on Ford Owner Web at VMLY&R. During a full AEM 6.1 → 6.4 platform migration, I designed components against the emerging standards of Ford’s Global Design System — a unified design language governing web, app, and in-vehicle simultaneously. Those components were adopted as early functional inputs into the Global Design System. What began as a migration deliverable became foundational infrastructure for a system now governing every Ford digital surface globally. That is the standard I hold my work to.
The same pattern defines the broader body of my work. At Blackstone, a modular enterprise design system for a $1T+ AUM financial platform drove a 30% improvement in design-to-development efficiency and eliminated accessibility debt across high-traffic surfaces before launch. At Ascape Audio, I co-founded a consumer electronics startup that shipped 200,000+ units globally. At United Tank Trailer, end-to-end UX redesigns produced a 61% increase in organic traffic and a 38% lift in lead conversions within six months. I am currently designing unified multi-user account architecture and in-vehicle CID experience for Subaru of America’s 2029+ vehicle lineup — consolidating previously siloed app, web, and in-cabin workstreams into a single coherent ecosystem.
I hold an FAA Private Pilot License and am pursuing my commercial rating. Flying has clarified something essential about any interface where the stakes are real: information hierarchy, glance time, and signal clarity are not stylistic considerations — they are structural commitments. In-Vehicle Experience Designer (Contract)
- Unified previously siloed workstreams across MySubaru App, MySubaru Web, and in-vehicle CID into a single scalable ecosystem — enabling singular accounts with multi-user support and seamless state persistence across mobile, web, and in-vehicle touchpoints for all Subaru models launching 2029 and beyond.
- Designed individual driver profile architecture and Guardian teen-driver supervision features including usage reporting dashboards, speed and curfew restriction controls, and real-time alert systems — balancing parental oversight with an intuitive, human-centered driver experience.
- Developed future-state UX concepts scaling the unified account framework into fleet management and elderly driver supervision use cases, producing high-fidelity interactive prototypes and roadmap documentation to inform long-term product strategy.

- Owned North American design for Ford Owner Web (Owner.Ford.com) — 100% of UI and UX across ~65% of the platform scope, one of the highest-reach automotive digital platforms globally.
- Led the AEM 6.1 → 6.4 platform audit and component migration across NA and EU Western markets — designing components to emerging Global Design System standards. Rationalized, WCAG-validated, cross-market components were adopted as early functional inputs into Ford’s Global Design System, which unified standards across web, app, and in-vehicle.
- Defined a four-state Owner account model — Unauthenticated, Reserved/Ordered, New Owner, Existing Owner — with distinct routing logic, content strategy, and auth behavior per state, structuring every feature and UX decision across the platform.
- Built multi-surface Figma design systems and component libraries; mentored designers while driving cross-functional interface alignment across simultaneous global automotive accounts.
- Applied familiarity with Android Automotive OS, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto design constraints alongside Harman Automotive interface standards; incorporated haptic feedback and voice recognition UX patterns into in-cabin interaction models.
