Hello,
I grew up in Detroit. I learned to drive before I was tall enough to see clearly over the dash. So when I say designing experiences inside vehicles feels like a natural fit, I mean it in a way that goes beyond the resume — it's the work that keeps me up at night in a good way.
The most relevant thing on my resume is the two years I spent leading UX and human interface design for Ford Owner digital products at VMLY&R — spanning in-vehicle HMI, native iOS and Android, and Owner.Ford.com. I also contributed to the Mach-E HMI workstream, which gave me direct exposure to how automotive interface design actually happens at scale.
More recently, I've been contracting with Subaru of America, designing the unified account and in-cabin CID experience for their 2029+ vehicle lineup — bringing together previously siloed MySubaru App, web, and in-vehicle workstreams into a single coherent ecosystem.
My family has deep roots in aviation, construction, and heavy machinery. I spent summers around equipment that demands total situational awareness — learning early that every instrument and every interface decision either earns your attention or costs you something real.
I'm now a licensed FAA pilot. I understand the Primary Flight Display not as a screen but as a life-safety surface — where information hierarchy, glance time, and the relationship between instruments aren't design decisions, they're commitments.

In-Vehicle Experience Designer
- Unified previously siloed workstreams across MySubaru App, MySubaru Web, and in-vehicle CID into a single scalable ecosystem — enabling singular accounts with multi-user support and seamless state persistence across mobile, web, and in-vehicle touchpoints for all Subaru models launching 2029 and beyond.
- Designed individual driver profile architecture and Guardian teen-driver supervision features — including usage reporting dashboards, speed and curfew restriction controls, and real-time alert systems.
- Developed future-state UX concepts scaling the unified account framework into fleet management and elderly driver supervision use cases.

- Led end-to-end UX redesign of two B2B eCommerce platforms delivering significant increases in organic traffic and lead conversions within six months.
